In December 2011 Cititec allocated £2000 for charity in lieu of sending Christmas cards. We asked our customers to decide how we should share this money out between three charities, by voting (very similar to the Waitrose green token scheme). We were delighted that we were able to donate £1253 to Haven House.
Siobhan Songour, Corporate Fundraiser said “We extend our sincere thanks to Cititec and its customers for the generous donation of £1253 to Haven House Children’s Hospice. A contribution of this amount really can go a long way in our support for life-limited children and young people in our care. It could provide an overnight stay at our hospice, with specialist nursing care, for a life-limited child or a couple of thoroughly enjoyable sessions of fun and games for children and young people with disabilities at our Youth Club. Thank you once again for your support at this special time of year.”
