| Description: | Systems Analyst, Requirements Analysis, Analysing and documenting functional & non-functional requirements, Broad knowledge of financial products and derivatives across Interest Rate, FX, Credit and/or Equities.
You will be expected to have gained previous Investment Banking experience, with a disciplined approach to requirements analysis with a software engineering or computer science background, with experience in capturing, analysing and documenting functional & non-functional requirements, with a broad knowledge of financial products and derivatives across interest rate, fx, credit and/or equity businesses, and experience working within large/strategic and small/tactical projects. Opportunity to join a leading Investment Bank, as a Systems Analyst within the Finance IT team, who are responsible for the definition and delivery of product control and finance systems globally. The team are engaged in the definition, development and implementation of Product Control’s strategic P&L analysis and reporting system, off-market rate checking system and Finance’s reconciliation systems, general ledger posting engine and regulatory reporting systems. Members of the team tend to get involved in several projects at once. You will be expected to analyse & capture functional & non-functional requirements for Finance and/or Product Control’s long-term (strategic) and short-term projects, whislt working closely with business analysts, users and system developers to define data sources and detailed business rules for P&L, Accounting and Regulatory Reporting systems. In doing so you will understand the system data flows from Front to Back and will develop proof-of-concept or prototypes to help crystallise business rules, processes and functions. |
