Calypso is a cross-asset, front-to-back trading application used by clients worldwide. Calypso’s strength more recently has been in the trading of complex derivatives. It has been growing in popularity with our clients over the last four years.
The increase in functionality means that many existing Calypso clients are extending their use of the application into new areas of their bank and also using it to trade new products.
Consequently, a shortage of skilled consultants to fill Calypso jobs has developed, meaning clients are finding it harder to fill their project requirements.
