Cititec is currently assisting a trusted partner within the commodity trading space with identifying an IT Business Analyst who is skilled within the regulatory reporting space. The ideal individual would have a strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements (UK & EU) and a background in investment banking or commodity trading.

Required knowledge and skills:

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of regulatory reporting requirements across the UK and EU (MiFID2, EMIR, Dodd Frank & MAS) - not negotiable
• Experience driving business requirements, working closely with IT Development teams (daily interaction with development staff)
• Experience testing software changes ensuring fit-for-purpose IT solutions across Regulatory Reporting
• Working knowledge and experience using SQL to interact with complex data sets
• Previous experience as a Business Analyst working on regulatory change projects within the investment or commodity trading space
• Knowledge of traded derivative products and FX Product knowledge advantageous
• Good understanding of the IT project lifecycle (waterfall and Agile)
• Experience working in Regulatory Remediation Projects preferred

Further details:

• 6 month contract (can be extended)
• £600-700 per day
• Inside IR35
• Hybrid (1-2 days in office per week)
