Senior Technical Support Engineer - London - Permanent

Cititec are currently working with a hedge fund based in London who are looking to had to their IT support team. The role represents an exciting opportunity to play a large part in implementing and owning a successful automation strategy that ensures continuity, maintenance and security.

Responsibilities

• Technical lead for a range of global IT projects
• Mentor and coaching of IT teams in all locations
• Automation of manual processes
• Technical review of existing and new systems
• Maintenance and administration of Active Directory
• 3rd line support for the Desktop environment
• Proactive performance and reliability analysis leading to continuous improvement of the IT environment

Key Skills/Experience Required

• In depth knowledge of Windows Active Directory including Group Policy
• Knowledge of SCCM
• Experience with PowerShell scripting
• Experience supporting Microsoft Office 2016/2019/365
• Experience with VMWare Horizon would be highly beneficial
• Previous experience within financial services with knowledge of how to support market data applications would be very advantageous
