Service Desk Lead - Financial Services - £80,000

Cititec are currently working with a rapidly growing fintech that are looking to grow their team in London. They are looking for someone with experience of supporting Windows and Linux environments, coupled with knowledge of Cisco telephone systems, as well as knowledge of networking and security. The role will involve being hands-on technically with support, whilst being able to train, motivate and develop an existing team. As this firm are going through a period of rapid growth, everyone that joins will be expected to play a part in developing the structure of the firm and implement processes and procedures that will allow for continued growth.

Key Skills Required:

  • 8+ years of experience in a technical support/desktop support/service desk capacity
  • Prior experience of managing or leading a team would be beneficial but not essential
  • In-depth knowledge of supporting a Windows environment
  • Experience within financial services - preferably supporting market data applications
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Exchange and Office365
  • Prior experience working with a ticketing tool such as Jira or ServiceNow
  • Knowledge of networking
  • Experience with Cisco telephony equipment
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving environment, not shy or performing a variety of tasks
